. I wake up just as a dream is about to get saucy. I demand myself to fall back asleep but it’s too late... Ani is ready for breakfast.

. I keep a very modest grocery budget and I’m close to going over it this month, which means meal planning has taken on a certain “rent week” vibe.

. I scan the fridge and make note of what I can use. I have no idea why there are two Greek yogurt cups. A search through last week’s plan reveals nothing. This is bizarre.

. Marinara sauce, shepherd’s pie, Bouchons au Thon (which sounds fancier than it is), salmon w/ asparagus (frozen salmon at Aldi, y’all). This should do nicely.

. I have an addiction to books. I buy 3 more from the used bookstore and ponder putting a bookshelf in the kitchen. Winter is coming. 

. O is hosting one of her infamous wine tastings. Cava, Champagne, Prosecco, Zinfandels, fried chicken, hot dogs with fixings like guacamole and bacon. L tucks salty chips into her bun which sounds like a whole other kind of party but I assure you, this was all PG-13. I make note to never eat fried chicken without a glass of Prosecco again.

. Water.
